Inspired by Milanese Osteria’s of the 50s, the restaurant offers guests the experience of traditional family Italian dishes with a contemporary twist set within a unqiue setting of Spinola Bay view.

Osteria Donna Carmela is the brain child of two Italian restaurateurs that have together over 50 years experience in running popular restaurants and with the tradition of their own family restaurant business back in Italy since the 1980’s guarantees a good reputation for the most authentic regional Italian experience.

The service is friendly, professional and welcoming to say the least. The owners motto to host people like they are being invited to their own home guarantees nothing less than a memorable experience.

Café Cuba

Located in St. Julian’s on the edge of Spinola Bay, Café Cuba offers wonderful views across the bay to Sliema, St. Julian’s and Balluta. There is both an outdoor restaurant on the terrace as well as an indoor restaurant.

Café Cuba specializes in Pizza, Pasta and Burgers. The menu offers a wide range of dishes from Salads, Pasta, and Pizza to Hamburgers and Desserts. Breakfast is also available with a choice of original items on the menu such as 'Eggs Guevara' and the 'Cuban Bun'.

It all started on the legendary Mediterranean island of Sicily. Hailing from a family of goldsmiths, Riccardo Lorefice was a young child when he started to show a passion for his mum’s talent in the kitchen. By the time he was in his teens, he was handling almost every aspect of the family restaurant. Even then, he dreamed of creating an experience that was all his doing.
